Japan’s Nuclear Power Plant Belt: Defense wall is set up to prevent the damage of flash flood in the mountain in a village near Mihama (three) nuclear reactors, in Tsuruga, Fukui, as the nature is often so harsh in Japan’s countryside. The areas of Japan’s nuclear power plant belt are all located in the countryside. By covering such a reactor belt, we can see the real problems of current Japan – the drastic depopulation of the countryside and the shrinking of all industries in it, since so many young generations move to Tokyo, the capital of Japan. That is why many of the Japanese local authorities and people still support for nuclear reactors, although the majority of Japan opposes it.
