Shiroyone terraced rice fields still produce extremely rich rice and they are also very famous as the Japanese government recognized scenery site. However, the fields cannot be carried out without outsider volunteers. The areas of Japan’s nuclear power plant belt are all located in the countryside. By covering such a reactor belt, we can see the real problems of current Japan – the drastic depopulation of the countryside and the shrinking of all industries in it, since so many young generations move to Tokyo, the capital of Japan. That is why many of the Japanese local authorities and people still support for nuclear reactors, although the majority of Japan opposes it.
