Regular visitors to Taronga's penguin exhibit may notice our resident Fiordland Crested Penguin, Mr Munro, is looking a little different lately! Despite appearances, keepers haven't given him a wash, but he does have a fresh set of feathers thanks to his annual moult. Sea birds generally keep dry for the couple of weeks it takes to shed their old feathers, while growing the new. Now he's finished, Munro is back in the water and looking good! #fiordlandpenguin #forthewild
