When Robert Bodanskey found an old purse belonging to his grandmother Camilla, he uncovered an untold family story. As an Austrian Jew, Camilla Gottlieb's life changed dramatically when Germany invaded in 1938. Eventually sent to Theresienstadt, a ghetto-labor camp, Camilla's story is one of survival and immigration. On Jan. 24, explore our "Camilla's Purse" exhibition with curators and go behind-the-scenes at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. Apply to this tweetup soon.
