Meet John, a 37 year old homeless man from Albuquerque New Mexico. Seemed like the typical "WILL WORK FOR FOOD" homeless guy on the freeway exit we're all used to. I usually give change or a dollar or two if I have it just because my heart tells me to but since @therobinhoodproject has provided me with an outlet to do much more I turned around, pulled over, parked & talked to John for a minute finding out that he is an ex heart surgeon who not but a year ago lost his wife n children in divorce & was so stressed he moved out the house into a hotel & started doing drugs (cocaine) until eventually cleaning out his bank account n taking to the streets... His story touched me & I was on my way to an event so I was rushing but I left him my cell # so that if he wants, I can assist him more in the near future in hopes to turning his life back around. Stories like this are the saddest because it really just takes a second for our lives to flip upside down... Sad but true.
