Every March 14, mathematicians and pie lovers around the world come together to celebrate Pi Day. Pi, or "π," is the symbol used to represent the number you get when you divide the circumference of a circle by its diameter. Why March 14? While Pi can be calculated to over one trillion digits, its first three—3.14—call to mind today's date.
