Today, men and women around the world will celebrate International Women’s Day. Since the early 1900s people have used the annual holiday as an opportunity to celebrate women's economic, political and social achievements. In honor of this, we're recognizing several exceptional women that utilize Instagram to document their incredible stories of talent, triumph and humanitarianism: professional surfer @Bethany Hamilton, peace activist @yokoonoofficial, Olympic gold medalist @gabbydoug2012 and health advocate and TV host @padmalakshmi.
