In the Textile Lab, artifacts related to the 1913 woman #suffrage are prepared for display. A "Votes for Women" pennant is carefully backed and that backing is attached to a form that allows it to be safely displayed. A curved suture (very creepy looking) was used for this gentle sewing job. The #suffrage1913 display case opens on Feb. 28. There is a family festival to celebrate the parade's centennial on March 2.
