I could never get my older son to latch (so much pain and fear on my part), and ended up pumping my milk exclusively for 6 months, and in the beginning I was really really hard on myself because of it. Now, with Otto, I was able to get over the initial painful hump and can nurse him on my breast. I am really proud of myself for giving myself grace with this whole confusing, terrifying, beautiful process. There were times with Miro that I even felt like a failure (mom guilt is REAL) and now I see that just isn’t true. Moms are moms no matter what their birth plan or birth experience (they almost never line up anyway) whether you breastfeed or pump exclusively or use formula - you mamas are incredible and worthy and doing your fucking best! ❤️‍🔥」1月6日 23時49分
