I tried to approach the topics of injustice and cancellation with what felt—and feels even more now— like an urgent new lens: folks of color/women/lgbtq+ and other marginalized people have been “living while canceled” since long before cancellation was ever a concept. I believe we have been... “pre-canceled”. Ultimately, the talk is a call to action for us all to engage and disrupt injustice instead of giving in to the current backlash/divide and conquer narratives, which are literally destroying humanity.
