朝井リョウの小説 “ 正欲 ” を岸善幸実のメガホンにによって実写映画化された “ 正欲 ” を観て来た。
最近よく聞く、多様性／ダイバーシティというトレンディーワード。「 違いを認め、それぞれの価値を尊重する。 」 こう書いてしまうと簡単に片付いてしまうのだが、この映画に描かれるように、ごく少数派による嗜好を理解する事が本当に出来るのであろうか？ また同時に“ 普通 ” という定義って一体なんなんだろう？ ・・・ 様々な疑問や不安、そして自身について深く考えざるを得ない問題作にして傑作。
自分に言われているようで「 ハッ 」とする瞬間が連続し、良い意味で疲れました。
隣席からのポップコーンのガサガサ音とコーラをすするノイズに苛立ちながら、「 多様性  多様性・・・」と感情を抑え続けた 134分。

I have just seen the live-action film adaptation of Ryo Asai’s novel “(ab)normal desire” directed by Yoshiyuki Kishi.
Diversity is a word that we often hear these days. It is easy to write, “Respect differences and the value of each individual.” However, as depicted in this film, is it really possible to understand the preferences of a small minority of people? At the same time, what exactly is the definition of “normal”? This is a masterpiece that forces us to think deeply about various questions and anxieties, as well as about ourselves.
I had a series of “aha” moments as if I were being told to myself, and it was exhausting in a good way.
The rustling of popcorn and sipping of Coke from the seat next to me irritated me, and I kept suppressing my feelings of “diversity, diversity, diversity...” for 134 minutes.
