河瀬直美さんのインスタグラム写真 - (河瀬直美Instagram)「2023年9月に発生した地震にて開催が危ぶまれたマラケシュ国際映画祭は、こんな時にこそ文化の力で皆んなの心に光を！との事で開催を決定しました。特に今年は20周年を迎える節目の年でもあり、オープニングの翌日の昨夜は、ムーレイ・ラシード皇太子殿下主催の公式晩餐会も開催され、殿下と同じテーブルにてお食事をいただきました。晩餐会前には、直接ご挨拶する機会があり握手をさせていただいた時、囁くような声で『私はあなたの国が好きです』と言っていただきました。ドレスコードはロングドレスでしたが、民族衣装でも可だったので、自身のルーツの奄美大島の白大島で出席しました。まだ着付が素人でアラがいっぱいですが…ラシード皇太子殿下にお言葉をいただけた時、とても誇らしい気持ちになりました。日本とモロッコの関係を深く知っている訳ではない自分ですが、映画という文化を通して繋がりを持てるならこんなに素晴らしい事はないと思えました。マラケシュ国際映画祭には8年前フランシスコッポラ監督が審査委員長の時に審査員団のひとりとして参加致しました。あっという間の8年を振り返りながら、また再会できた沢山の映画人と語り合っています。会場の様子は地震の事も配慮してSNSでの投稿を控えるように…との事で晩餐会への準備中のバックヤード💦と公式ホテルのエントランスでの写真を投稿します。明日は河瀬直美マスタークラスです。頑張ってきます！ The Marrakech International Film Festival, which was in danger of not being held due to the September 2023 earthquake, decided to hold the festival with the hope that in times like these, the power of culture can bring light to everyone's hearts! The dress code was a long dress, but ethnic costumes were also acceptable, so I wore a white Oshima kimono from Amami Oshima, where I have roots. I am still an amateur at dressing and had a lot of places to fix...but I felt so proud receiving the words from His Royal Highness Crown Prince Rashid. I don’t know much about the relationship between Japan and Morocco, but it was so wonderful to connect with one other through the culture of film. I participated in the festival 8 years ago as a juror when Francis Copolla was president of the jury. I looked back on those 8 years that passed so fast, as I talked with many filmmakers I met again. I was asked to refrain from posting photos of the venue on social media in consideration of the earthquake... so I will post photos from the backroom💦 during the preparation for the dinner party and the entrance of the hotel.
