I am beyond grateful and humbled to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Black Students at Cambridge University. @homertoncollege . When Lord Simon Wooley asked me to speak to the students, I had no idea I would receive this incredible recognition. This award symbolizes our shared dedication to making a positive impact on the world and it recognizes the responsibility we have to uplift one another.

Over 10 years ago, Cadbury/Hershey used my name in a derogatory way to advertise their latest chocolate bar. I felt wronged and the first person I called was Lord Simon Woodley. With his help, and coverage by The Guardian, we challenged Cadbury/Hershey to rethink their approach and make amends. The result was a testament to the power of standing up against injustice and calling on people to rally behind you.
