It is here, on a side street off the boardwalk, that @manojdias_ and his team chose to establish his meditation and somatic mindfulness studio, @op_e___n. Having been raised in the Buddhist traditions of his Sri Lankan heritage, Dias admits that he would feel more at home meditating in the mountains. But something compels him to undertake his work in urban areas. “There is a notion of skillfulness in Buddhist teaching,” he explains. “To bring about the dharma – both for yourself and others – you work with whatever is at hand.
