Some people were asking why I test my kittens at home for parasites and ringworm. They were concerned the accuracy of the results as I’m not a vet. I work closely with my vet and follow her guidance. I test the kittens at home between the lab work done at the vet’s office, since we can’t test them constantly with our non-profit budget. I bought the equipment and learned how to test them. I don’t rely on my results, I just use them to get an idea, then have another lab done at my vet if anything changes.

The parasite Pumpkin & Patch had cannot be transmitted to people or dogs. Phoebe finally got to meet them face to face yesterday. A little teaser in the end. I will post a video on their interactions soon.
