Photos by @ivankphoto // On August 20th, 2023, Ecuadorians voted against drilling for oil in the Yasuní National Park. The park, one of the most biodiverse places in the world, is home to the Waorani and the Kichwa, as well as two indigenous communities living in voluntary isolation, the Tagaeri and Taromenane. These photos were made in and on the border of the Yasuní National Park in 2012 for National Geographic Magazine with Karla Gachet (@kchete77).
