Night shift training to build that power endurance💥 you can see the struggle at the end which is how you know you’re at the right current added weight; the last rep should be hard but still clearable. You can see that I make sure my scapular muscles are engaged before the last pull which is important to avoid any compensation injury. In my training, I’ll go through periods of strength building, endurance foundation building, and melding the two. Right now I’m building back both. Heavy weighted pull up reps of 2-3 pull ups is great for max power — but mixing in 6 rep rounds with less weight is really good for building endurance under load. The climb I’m currently working on requires both powerful movements, as well as being multiple pitches and demanding of endurance to actively recover while hanging on at a steep angle. I generally do a power day first which is more bouldering-oriented and hangboarding; followed by an endurance day like my last reel- on the @treadwall_fitness and doing 3x3 or circuit sets on the @kilterboard@roap.c #training #strength #exploreperfection #trainwithcoros
