Thanks to the amazing @melissabeckmua for make up and hair and @stylistmelissalynn for literally bringing the 90s back and making fall appear in that room with every outfit she constructed. Incredible. Coming up, just getting your show listed in Time Out NY was a huge deal. And to get a small review on top of that was heaven. When @tallgilozeri @adam.pally & I were doing Hot Sauce, NY hero @janeborden was nice enough to include us in the magazine a few times and it really helped. Thanks Jane. (Photo 4) A little later, Time Out NY used one of my jokes as the joke of the week and included a little photo of me. Somehow in LA, hall of fame casting director Allison Jones got a copy of the magazine, saw my photo and the joke and asked to meet me. Allison cast me in my first pilot. (Photo 6) To be on the cover of any magazine is still surreal to me. But this magazine specifically that I have so much history with means so much.
