ケイト・ブッシュの初期の有名なアルバムをレコーディングしたことでよく知られています。

The Kick Inside と Lionheart は、アルバム「Never For Ever」の共同プロデューサー兼エンジニアです。
ジョンはポール・マッカートニーのソロアルバムの多くもレコーディングされている方。

ジョンは英国のレジェンドで、ロンドンのタイヤード スタジオで働いています。

今回はなんと！！
そのタイヤードスタジオにご挨拶に伺い、実際にお会いして沢山のお話を聞かせて頂き、
スタジオ見学！！さらには
guitarで先日リリースした
"それはスポットライトではない"を生演奏。
聴いて頂けて、とても感動しました。

ジョンはとても深い愛に溢れたまなざしで
沢山の話をしてくれました。
本当に光栄で感動！！！！涙が出た。
嬉しかったです。本当にありがとう！
素晴らしい人。早くまたあいたいです。

に紹介してもらった事により、
ジョンとの対談が実現した。

Meet Jon Kelly, one of Tileyard’s finest producers. Jon began his career as an engineer at Air Studios in Oxford Circus before going independent and moving to Tileyard Studios in May 2014. His credits include work with some of the most prestigious names in British recording history, including Kate Bush, Paul McCartney, Deacon Blue, Prefab Sprout, Heather Nova, Beautiful South, and Chris Rea. More recently, he has worked with Duffy, Emmi Green and Chris Difford, as well as taking part in several of Tileyard Music’s writing camps.
Jon enjoys the full songwriting process, and favours starting a song from the ground up, beginning with just piano/guitar and vocals to get a great song before working on the production. In his studio you’ll find lots of old gear collected over the years, including a Euphonix console, various valve EQ and compressors, and much more outboard gear.
