Finally I am able to share one of the most fun and exciting development projects I got to direct. 6 years ago, I received an offer from #SAMSUNG to direct and develop a bunch of future home appliance robots with an amazing team of engineers and designers from Samsung Research and Development in Korea, along with my own team of artists and animators. This is AIR-bot (Changed to #BotAir later after my development). There is a performance animation test I did in the middle of this clip which was a test done with the engineers using it’s motor and hardware capabilities. Out of all the robots I worked on, #AIRbot was one of my personal favorites as I really wanted a #PetCare / #AirPurifier robot myself as someone who had three cats at the time. Air bot can not only clean, but it can monitor, play and pet sit while you are away. Collaborating and problem solving with Samsung’a tech engineers and my creative team of artists and seeing something physically be created from ground up was such a great adventure. I learned so much from this collaboration and I am so happy to announce that you might see some of the robots we worked on or a more developed version of them soon at your homes.
