Third photo same wall but 60ft (65ft??) on a floating barge above Lake Michigan. Staring across the city skyline, I couldn’t help but smile big. What an absolutely ridiculous, amazing place to be. I’ll always be scared up there and I’ll always be grateful for such an incredible, unique experience. In addition to competing I also premiered my China Beach film, spoke on @thenorthface’s Climbing & Culture panel, got interviewed by local news, explained DWS to curious soon-to-be-climbers, gave my sunglasses to a TikTok montage, made sure everyone who wanted one had a tequila shot, and had an all-around blast. Quite the full-value time!!
