Three days later, on Aug 9th, another Atomic bomb was dropped on Nagasaki. I was diagnosed with cancer. It was fortunate to be found at the earliest stage. My life was saved. Cancer gifted me a new life. I promised myself to visit Hiroshima next time in Japan. For the first half of this trip, I visited my family roots. The second half was about friendship, the connection between people and nature, and the consciousness expanding from the earth to the cosmic. In between, I visited Hiroshima and spent the whole day at the Peace Memorial Museum. Having been given life again, I thought it was most meaningful to burn into my eyes how humans could ever possibly act in hell under the name of War and how important the dignity of peace is engraved in my heart. Peace on Earth, August 6, 2023 August 9, 2023 8月6日広島の日。 8月9日長崎の日。幸いにも健康診断で癌の早期発見ができたわたしは、最新医療を受けて完治し、再び命を与えてもらいました。そして、帰国したらぜったいに広島を訪れようと思っていました。旅の前半は、自分の家族とルーツを訪ねました。そして後半は、友情、人と自然との繋がり、地球から宇宙へと意識が広がった旅でした。その途中に広島に一泊し、原爆記念館でまる一日を過ごしました。人間が、戦争という名のもとに犯した地獄。その記録を目に焼きつけ、平和の尊厳を心に刻めたことは、何よりも意味のあることでした。地球に平和を、黙祷。 2023年8月6日、8月9日 #AtomicBomb #PeaceOnEarth #地球に平和を」8月7日 0時23分
