Good morning everyone! A little fun fact Friday questionnaire…do you know how old the benches are in @centralparknyc ?! 🤔

I found out that the wood-and-concrete and World’s Fair benches dates back to 1929 & 1939. It also became a standard staple all throughout the parks in NYC. There’s also 10k benches in Central Park and it’s always fun to read some of the plaques.

When I approach a bench to sit on, I would glance at a few of the plaques and read them quickly …it determines which bench I choose to sit on 😁 Do you do this too? Hmm 🤔 now I’m curious how old are the park benches at my favorite parks in the city!
