Black Fig Milk Buns for this weekend’s special at @dominiqueanselworkshop. Fresh black mission fig compote inside a soft milkbread bun, wrapped and baked in a fresh fig leaf. To eat, peel away the crisp fig leaf first, then eat the bun! The leaf imparts a fragrant sweet and earthy flavor as it bakes in the oven. Beautiful.
