三田真一さんのインスタグラム写真 - (三田真一Instagram)「埴輪（honey world）ぐるぐる廻る朝日焼 + 製缶 + 革月白釉の鮮やかな水色と、土、金、どこか地球を思わせるヘルメット。その外側が宇宙なのか、内側こそが宇宙なのか。この作品は轆轤（ろくろ）を用いて作られました。轆轤の螺旋回転は土に触れて成形するように「時」を伸ばし、時を超える感覚を思い起こさせます。それを被ることで時空を超えるヘルメットをイメージして制作されました。またヘルメットの両側にある、神具を思わせる造形の九谷焼は、オオカミが天に向かって遠吠えしている姿を模った「狼像」を源流に先進化し、抽象化したものです。 honey world goes round and round Asahi Ware + Can Manufacturing + Leather The helmet, reminiscent of Earth with its vivid aqua color from moon-white glaze, earth, and gold. Is the outside of it the universe, or is it the inside that's the universe? It was created using a forming method called the wheel (roku-ro). The wheel extends the clay by rotating it. This spiral rotation gives a sense of time, even a sense of extending and transcending it. The piece was created envisioning a helmet that symbolizes spacetime transcendence. Two types of the forms (Kutani Ware) on both sides of the helmet resulted from an elaboration and abstraction of the "Wolf Statue", culminating in designs reminiscent of sacred Shinto artifacts.
