If you’re planning on hitting the roads these winter school holidays, make sure to wombat-proof your drive so you can protect these adorable marsupials.
Wombats often feed on grass on the side of the road in country areas, and sometimes they come out at night and can be hard to spot. So slow down, stay alert and follow animal warning signs!
If you are visiting Taronga these school holidays, make sure to say hello to our adorable Southern hairy-nosed wombats including Jedda and her bub Wadu in our Backyard to Bush precinct.
You can find more info about how to wombat-proof your drive over at @transportfornsw
