When I left YouTube to be on the other side of the business full time, I had such a huge sense of imposter syndrome. I felt like I wouldn't be able to hold my own in "grown up" conversations because I didn't have an MBA or work my way up in a big organisation. It made me really anxious before meeting people and representing my teams across @influencer, @mvemanagement and @properliving because so many of them know more than I do. I've learnt over time that this lack of formal education or path has actually been my superpower. Building a business isn't about being the best at everything, it's about enabling others who know their sh*t to thrive. Between the companies we've founded, there are now over 160 people who are part of the teams and hundreds more will be joining soon.
