I spent a big chunk of my life hating everything that came with being a woman: my period, my mestrual cycle and really feared the childbirth. Thanks to Ricky Lake and Abby Epstein, among others, that’s no longer the case.

There are like the god mothers of my growth as a woman.
They convinced me to consider my womanhood not as a disease but as a gift.

The Business of Being Born was revolutioniary for me 20 years ago.
