I remember when I was initially coming back from that recovery and getting back into jumping, I tried to work on a couple 2F+3Lo and it felt BAD. Bad as in it definitely wasn't good for my hip, especially because according to my surgeon I'm working on a time scale of "when" not "if" my labrum is going to tear again and I'm not trying to play that game! So I resigned myself to the fact that 3F+3Lo was just not in the cards for me anymore. This time around, though, I've done some stellar 2+3 so my brain was like "maaaaaybeeeee" but I still didn't really think I'd be able to. Then I accidentally did one on Thursday. I fell on it, but it was clean and it was technically sound and I was honestly shocked! I've been trying to get used to landing flip in a loop takeoff for 3+2, and that one was truly an accidental full send triple. I'm not even gonna lie I got a little emotional in the car later because I very much did not think I'd ever do one again. So yeah, if you've made it this far thank you for reading!
