I hated when women used to say to me “enjoy your body now, because it will never be the same after babies” or “you’ll never get your shape back. Get used to what you have now”.
Or maybe I just love being told what I can’t do, so I can go fucking do it.
It’s been over a year since giving birth and I needed this time to nurture and care for my body, because it’s true: it did change. It will never be the same.
& I love it even more now.
