坂本龍一さんのインスタグラム動画 - (坂本龍一Instagram)「2018年にロンドンで発表された第1回のMODEでは、坂本龍一氏がプログラムキュレーターを担当しました。敬意と追悼の意を込め、MODEは今回のシリーズを氏に捧げるものとして発表しています。坂本さんは気候変動に対する環境保護活動など、次世代のために社会活動に行ってきました。MODEは、坂本さんの意思を引き継いだ植樹のためのドネーションプラットフォーム「Trees for Sakamoto」 @trees_for_skmt をサポートするプロジェクトとして、坂本龍一と、David Toopによる当時のパフォーマンス映像『Ryuichi Sakamoto & David Toop (2018)』の上映をロンドン拠点のラジオプラットフォーム NTS @nts_radio との共同企画により行います。この上映は、坂本さんへの追悼と共に「Trees for Sakamoto」への寄付の呼びかけを行うものです。映像は、5月29日（月）~6月3日（土）までの期間、DOMICILE TOKYOに併設するギャラリースペースにて、ご鑑賞いただけます。同会場では、他アーティストのサウンドインスタレーションや映像作品を鑑賞できる「MODE LISTENING ROOM」をオープンしております。みなさまのお越しをお待ちしております。 DOMICILE TOKYO、ウェブサイト、イベント各会場にて寄付の案内がございますので、是非ご覧になっていただけたら幸いです。プロフィールのリンクからも詳細をご覧いただけます。 In 2018, Ryuichi Sakamoto curated the first edition of MODE in London, headlining the series with a collaborative performance alongside David Toop. This year’s MODE is dedicated to him. Sakamoto dedicated his life to social action, including environmental work combatting climate change, and MODE is proud to support Trees for Sakamoto @trees_for_skmt, a new tree-planting donation platform that continues Sakamoto’s legacy. In collaboration with London-based radio platform NTS @nts_radio, MODE will screen Ryuichi Sakamoto & David Toop’s 2018 performance at MODE. The screening is a memorial to Sakamoto and an appeal for donations to Trees for Sakamoto. The film can be viewed at the gallery space attached to DOMICILE TOKYO from 29 May (Mon) to 3 June (Sat).
