I believe in the libertarian notion that if you don't hurt another person or their property, and no contract has been breached, there is no crime.  This gentleman, Nhia Pao Yang, is a small, 72 year old H'mong, and a legal grower in Trinity county.  The sheriff pepper sprayed his dog, cut his fence lock, and when they went to arrest him, the already brutalized dog reacted as it should.  I'm a dog lover and this is unconscionable behavior.  One step back would have put the deputy out of reach of the leash.  I guess there was some issue with the county permit, but you don’t send 9 cops in riot gear with their guns drawn for a code violation.  Why is this unjust war against people continuing, even in a state where cannabis is legal?  This war continues because, like most war, it's extremely lucrative for some.  88% of Americans believe pot should be legal and common sense tells you this absurd, money-making war never stopped a single person from consuming what they want.  The only real crime in this war on humanity appears to rest with the warmonger.   Wouldn't it be better to take the billions they use every year to fight this drug war and divert it to something necessary and important like regenerative agriculture or combating global warming or helping vets?  I could come up with 500 things that would better serve the country than this continuous brutality.」5月17日 10時32分 - woodyharrelson
