It truly is a happy morning for these two sweeties! ☀️🐕🐕 Good morning everyone! 😄 I’m back to playing catch up and I’ve been a follower of @markettablenyc …located on the corner of Carmine and Bedford Streets for quite some time. This place has been on my list to illustrate as well as dine! Their salmon is calling me as I’m always on the hunt for a wonderful fish dish. 🐟

When I illustrate an establishment, if I haven’t yet tried, I do my part in searching …from their IG pictures, to online reads. But there’s often times I come across places that instinctively, I know, I’ll enjoy, and this is one of them. I always love a place that is aesthetically pleasing but relaxed, not fussy. I enjoy feeling like I’m dining with comfort. I feel lucky that many establishments in the city focus on “welcome and eat at my table” vs the often uncomfortable vibe of over the top dining that is amazing, but less warm. I guess I lean towards places that is charming but warm to the core! Do you feel that way when it comes to selecting a place to dine?
