We took risks and I’m not going to lie, it was scary but we had a lot of fun too. If I could define my self talk during this process: “Hello Andrea.. welcome to real sports, you always wanted that: an exciting and unpredictable sport. So now deal with it: take it as a challenge and not a threat. This is a new game and we are going to play the best hand possible. And guess what? Let’s enjoy the process too! After every uncomfortable situation there is space for growth” and heck yes…we are growing, as people, as athletes, coaches and as team.
