"I wanted to draw special items from the coronation, like The King's crown and sceptre. These were difficult to draw as they are so complicated with lots of jewels, so I had to think really hard about how to make them easy to knit. King Charles likes nature, so the tree leaves were to show people this. I chose three different trees — oak, sycamore, and lime. The leaves were much easier to draw, and I could put them all over the scarf as if they had been planted there or fallen off a tree in the wind."
