Before tonight’s game, fallen Milwaukee Police Officer Peter Jerving was recognized as the first recipient of the Brewers Hometown Champions Award.

Peter made the ultimate sacrifice for his community on Feb. 6, 2023 when he was fatally shot in the line of duty.
