As I start to approach the end of my life, I have been given some opportunities to do the exhibitions that I strongly believe in and wish to do.
This time, I am having a two-person exhibition at an antique gallery called Otsuka Fine Art @otsuka_fineart with my collaborator and partner-in-crime in ceramic art, Shin Murata @muratashinwolf .
We each reinterpreted designs of water creatures favored by Kitaōji Rosanjin, for which he had in turn taken inspirations from dark blue-and-white ceramic works from the Yuan dynasty in China. The exhibition will run through April 25. It is a very small and targeted exhibition, but I would like to see how the enthusiasts of this type of artwork may evaluate the show. Both Murata-san and I are confident in our respective works. We very much appreciate your support.

そろそろ死ぬ時が近づいてきていて、コレをやりたい、と強く思える展覧会をやらせてもらってます。
今回は骨董屋の大塚美術と言う所で、私の仕事仲間と言うか陶芸の共犯者、村田森さんとの2人での企画展をやらせてもらってます。
中国の元の時代の濃いブルーの染付け陶芸作品を出発点とした、北大路魯山人好みの水性生物系の図案を、僕と村田さんがそれぞれ解釈し直して作品を作りました。展覧会は4月25日まで。あまりにも小さいターゲット絞った展覧会ですが、その手のマニアに真価を問いたいです。僕も村田さんも自信作です。ヨロシクお願い致します。
