This is a topic particularly close to my heart. 🎥🧠 As many of you know May is mental health awareness month. Whilst there are many aspects of mental health that we need to raise awareness off, I’m fascinated in particular about the impact of the climate crisis on our mental health and well-being. In this two-part documentary I set out understand what climate anxiety is, and what can be done to help those experiencing it. Along the way I met an amazing host of contributors - people I’ve long admired like @cloverhogan, @dazeaghaji, @scarletttwestbrook, @mitzijonelle and @aidanrgallagher and experts like Caroline Hickman and even the prime minister of Iceland Katrín Jakobsdóttir. I’ve always felt that what makes climate anxiety worse, is the sense that you’re the only one feeling like this. What I’ve learnt is that couldn’t be further from the case. As with all mental health issues, it starts with talking about it and community it key. Going on this journey provided me with a deep sense of catharsis, and I hope watching it does the same for you.
