13. dawn
アルバムの中で一番最初に出来上がった曲。実は前アルバム「LEO-NiNE」の時に制作していた楽曲でした。dawnの歌詞の制作時は得体の知れない流行り風に世界が乱され、東京は緊急事態宣言の真っ最中。計画していた様々なことが白紙になり、未来への希望をどう描き直せばいいのかわからないまま、何もしないまま何も進まないまま夜が明けていくそんな日々が続いていました。その中で答えを探すように過去の自分を振り返りながら、未来への希望を消さないように願いを込めて作ったのがこの曲でした。
あれからたくさんの幕開け、迎えてきたね。

13. dawn
This was the first song I finished for this album. Actually, I had worked on this song while making my last album, LEO-NiNE. When I was writing the lyrics to “dawn”, the world was disturbed by a mysterious epidemic, and Tokyo was in the middle of a so-called “state of emergency”. Everything I had planned fell apart; without being able to figure out how to depict once again the hopes for the future, I spent days and nights not doing anything or not making any steps forward. Under such circumstances, I wrote this song by looking back on my past self, trying to find the answers, and hoping that the potential for the future would not fade.
Since then, we have welcomed many new starts, haven’t we?

14. NEW ME
10周年のしめくくりに新しい始まり。を感じていました。ジェットロケットに乗り込んで、雨の日も晴れの日も駆け抜けながら辿り着いた新しい私。NEW ME。この曲が完成したことにより、このアルバムのタイトルが決まりました。私が持って行った曲のカケラを、晶太くんがしっかりとした骨にしてくれて、ライブに向けてバンドメンバーが肉付けをしてくれました。一人で駆け出した旅路、どんどん仲間の想いが音となり何重にも重なった。まるでオーケストラ。ひとりだけどひとりじゃないね。
少し私に似たあなたへ。
やってやれ、私の愛しいひと。

14. NEW ME
As my 10th anniversary year drew to a close, I was feeling the sense of a new start. I jumped on a jet rocket that took me through rain and shine to arrive at my new self – NEW ME. By completing this song, the title of this album was confirmed. Shota Horie created a firm backbone for this song from the fragments of music I had brought to him, and the band added flesh to it so that we could play it live. I embarked on this journey alone, but the feelings of my friends turned into music and added layers and layers to my path – like an orchestra. I am by myself but not alone.
This song is for you, who is a little like me.
Go for it, my beloved one.
