Video of @ナショナルジオグラフィック filmmaker @bertiegregory by Sam Stewart | A lioness known as “Lip” walks past our filming vehicle in Zambia’s South Luangwa National Park. Thanks to years of habituation, the lions here accept vehicles (when driven responsibly) as part of the environment. This is an ideal scenario for filmmaking, as it allows us to record natural behavior at relatively close proximity. While they would generally ignore us, occasionally we’d get a little glance—as in this video—which was always a healthy reminder that they are very powerful animals. Filmed in Zambia’s South Luangwa National Park for my new show, #EpicAdventuresWithBertieGregory, coming later this year to @disneyplus.
