Tahon’s deeply rooted topics of human psychology and spirituality also caught the attention of writers, most notably Till Lindemann, frontman of the German band Rammstein, who collaborated, under the initiative of ZOO Magazine, with the Belgian artist by writing a number of poems inspired by his sculptures. The resulting exhibition, 'Wir Überleben das Licht', conceived in collaboration with ZOO Magazine is now on display at the Cultuurcentrum de Steiger in Menen, Tahon’s hometown of which he is also an honorary citizen. This exhibition, conceived in collaboration with ZOO Magazine, encompasses the sculptures of Belgian artist Johan Tahon, poetry by Rammstein front man Till Lindemann and photography by Sandor Lubbe.
