Janna Breslinさんのインスタグラム写真 - (Janna BreslinInstagram)「One of the most disturbing things I have learned is that the United States imports 4+ billion pounds of beef and exports 9+ billion a year… Why are we importing when we clearly have ample supply? 🤬 Obviously $, but this is a catastrophic problem and something I have become deeply passionate about fixing. Think about the carbon emissions transporting that meat across the world. Or the deforestation of rainforests in other countries to raise these animals when we have enough land to do that here in the states. It doesn’t make sense. We are destroying our planet to have cheaper and less healthy meat when there is a CLEAR & PROVEN solution for this that can also reverse climate change. (And it’s not going vegan…😛) Equally important, ranchers and farmers here in the US have a diminished quality of life because they are not paid what they are worth. These are the families that put food on our tables but many have to live off government subsidies. We’ve been working hard the last few months and recently acquired our processing facility @wyominglegacymeats to help be a solution for this.
