Lake Havasu is 2.5h from Las Vegas so I went there for little trip.
It is Colorado River border of California and Arizona. The city was established in 1963 by Robert P. McCullough.
Here, you can do water sports, hiking, fishing, camping and more.

This bridge is called “London bridge”.
McCullough bought it for US$2.5 million from the City of London when the bridge was replaced in 1968.

Can't believe this came across the sea more than 50 years ago.

ハヴァス湖はラスベガスから2.5時間のところにあるので、小旅行に行ってきました。
カリフォルニアとアリゾナの間にあるコロラド川の国境です。この都市は、1963年にロバートP.マッカローによって設立されました。
ここでは、ウォータースポーツ、ハイキング、釣り、キャンプなどができ、とてもお勧めです。

この橋は「ロンドン橋」と呼ばれている橋です。マッカロー氏が、1968年にロンドン橋が交換される際、ロンドン市から250万米ドルで購入したらしいです。
この橋が海を渡ってアメリカまで来て、50年以上使われているなんて、素晴らしいですね。
