#KenWatanabe, #RinkoKikuchi, #HideakiIto, #ShoKasamatsu, #TomohisaYamashita and other actors join HBO/WOWOW film TOKYO VICE starring #AnselEgort. Directed by HIKARI (37 Seconds), Joseph Kubota Radhika, and Alan Poole. It will be distributed in the U.S. on HBO Max in 2022, and will be exclusively broadcast and distributed in Japan by WOWOW in the spring of the same year.

The film is set in Tokyo in the 1990's. The main character Jake, who works as a police reporter, grabs scandals in the Tokyo underworld in eight episodes. The film is based on a book written by Jake Edelstein, an American journalist who has worked as a newspaper reporter in Japan. Elgort plays Jake, Ken Watanabe plays Katagiri, a talented detective, and Rinko Kikuchi plays Jake's senior reporter, Eimi Maruyama.

Hideaki Ito will make a regular appearance as Miyamoto, a detective who uses his position to take advantage of the darkness, Sho Kasamatsu as Sato, a member of the yakuza organization Chihara-kai, and Tomohisa Yamashita as Akira, a charismatic host who is number one in popularity. #ShunSugata plays Ishida, the head of Chihara-kai, #AyumiTanida plays Tozawa, the head of a yakuza organization, #MasatoHagiwara plays Duke, the manager of a high-class hostess club, and #KosukeToyohara plays Mo, Jake's boss. #AyumiIto, #MakikoWatanabe, #YukaItaya, and #MiyukiMatsuda also join the cast.
