On this day 20 years ago my grandfather (who meant the world to me) passed away. I had an audition that day for a little show called Grounded For Life that I almost didn’t go to because I wanted to be there with him when he passed away. God was kind enough to allow me both. On that day, the door to one chapter of my life closed, and the beginning of everything else opened up. With that door opening, I was able to meet the woman of my dreams, have three of THE MOST AMAZING kids in the world, a career that has brought so many incredible people into my life, to teach me so many things, none of which I’ve deserved. All for a kid from Philly who never in a million years saw himself doing this for a living….. and a lot of times, still can’t. God has blessed me beyond my wildest dreams, and I’m grateful for every second of it. Thank you all for taking the ride with me. All because one door closed, and another door opened.
