Last week, I attended @P&G（Procter & Gamble） India’s #WeSeeEqual Summit on paving the way for gender equality. I was a part of the panel ‘We Do As We See’ along with @anupama.chopra , ashwinyiyertiwari , @laxminarayan_tripathi and @chetnas from P&G. We discussed how pop culture has a strong role to play in breaking many stereotypes and shaping the new normal. While attitudes have changed over the last 25 year, I’ve realised that it’s so deeply imbedded in our culture what women can and cannot do, that we still have a long way to go. Forums like #WeSeeEqual that enable such conversation help us move in the right direction and bring in much-needed change – FASTER! It is great to see corporates like @P&G（Procter & Gamble） in India taking deliberate action and onus with girl child education, diversity behind the camera and inclusive work places.
