Thank you @bazaaruk for featuring @milamorejewelry Mother Of Pearl Kintsugi Charm✨ I went to Wajima, Japan to meet #kintsugi artist @kohei_kirimoto to create this one of a kind piece. We broke the mother of Pearl purposely and the Kintsugi sensei(master) glued back the broken pieces with lacquer and finish it with gold powder. Find beauty in imperfection. That’s the spirit of #wabisabi and that’s the philosophy of Kintsugi. Check the slideshows to see the process of this making!
ハーパーズバザーイギリス🇬🇧に KINTSUGIマザーオブパールチャームが掲載されましたー！昨夏、輪島市へ行ってアーティストの @kohei_kirimoto くんと彼の金継ぎ師匠との共同プロジェクトでした！
マザーオブパールを意図的に割り、それを#金継ぎ 職人さんが漆でつないだあと、金粉を塗し、世界で一点物を作りました。スライドショーに制作過程を載せましたのでぜひ見てください🥰壊して、新たなモノを作るのが大好き🧬不完全の美しさ、人間らしさの美にとてもとても惹かれます。
