An exhibition of Richter’s "Cage" paintings at Gagosian, Beverly Hills, is temporarily closed to the public, but in the meantime, the show can be explored online. The presentation follows the inclusion of the paintings, as a cornerstone, in the artist’s retrospective, "Gerhard Richter: Painting After All" at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York last year. In conjunction with this key group of six paintings, a new group of drawings created by the artist on consecutive days over the summer of 2020 will be shown for the first time. This exhibition will travel to Gagosian, 541 West 24th Street, New York, in the late spring.
