Sunday & I had so much fun making this DELICIOUS trifle to celebrate the launch of McVitie’s @jaffacakesofficial two new & exciting flavours - Passion Fruit & Cherry! As you can see, Sunday and I loved putting this together, it’s a really easy dessert that you can make at home too. I had my own little cheeky Cherry helping me out along the way with the different jelly, custard and #JaffaCakes layers. You can find the full recipe below.

JAFFATASTIC INSPIRED FRUITY TRIFLE
What you’ll need:
2 x fresh Passion Fruits (flesh only)
1 box of McVitie’s Jaffa Cakes Cherry flavour
1 box of McVitie’s Jaffa Cakes Passion Fruit flavour
1 heaped tbsp of cherry jam
1 pack of jelly (135g)
200g of fresh cherries, chopped
1 x carton of 500g ready-made custard
250g double cream
¼ cup of Cherry or Passion Fruit juice
How to bring your Cherry & Passion Fruit Trifle to life:
First step is to make and set your Cherry jelly, by following the packet instructions, then leave it to set in the fridge for a few hours.
When your jelly is set, you can make a start on the rest of the trifle.
First, layer the bottom of a trifle bowl with the McVitie’s Jaffa Cakes Cherry & Passion Fruit flavours. Pack them all in, nice and snug (keep a couple of the Jaffa Cakes back to crumble them on top of the trifle at the end).
Next, pour 1/4 cup of Cherry or Passion Fruit juice over the McVitie’s Jaffa Cakes and spread 1 heaped tbsp of cherry jam on them.
Break up the jelly and wibble-wobble it into the bowl on top of
