Jigokudani Wild Monkey Park

At the Jigokudani Wild Monkey Park, you can see wild Japanese macaques up close.

During winter, the monkeys soak in the hot spring in the middle of the park, their adorable faces topped with caps of snow. They’re so cute that you won’t want to look away—you may even want to jump in and join them!

*The Japanese macaques that frequent Jigokudani Wild Monkey Park are wild animals and are free to come and go as they please. There is a chance they may not be at the park during your visit.
